Eulogy
"My name is ... and I was her sister."
Sensitive content warning: This game contains sensitive themes of suicidal ideation that may be disturbing for some players.
Eulogy is a point-and-click story-driven game that guides you through a nostalgic childhood home. Explore the memories of someone who's left everything behind in their final moments.
Live the life of Ashley's sister as she goes through the different items in her household that remind her of her dear sister.
Game's ending is accessible once each item has been interacted with. (The game can't end if you missed something!)
Hint if you think you're lost: Grief isn't a house you can live in forever. Open the front door and step outside.
This game was made as a submission for DevelUP Public Game Jam.

I really enjoyed the game, the art, the story, and the music. It really shows how much thought the devs and artists put into it. It makes you think more about life and how much a helping hand can really make a big difference.
If you think everything is hopeless, please know that there are a lot of people who are more than willing to listen to you.
Wow, the game is really amazing!
huge congratulations to the developers for creating this game! the art style is so warm and expressive, making the house feel nostalgic and alive. the gameplay ran super smoothly on desktop, and the environmental puzzles—like finding the date for the diary—were so clever. what got me the most was reading ashley’s entries after unlocking it. it teaches you that grief and pain aren't always obvious; sometimes people are drowning quietly while trying their best. it’s a gentle reminder to slow down, pay attention, and show grace to the people around us. beautiful and unforgettable game! very good!
i really appreciated the art and storytelling! each item ash left definitely meant something. the game ran smoothly on my desktop too, no issues with that. the game also teaches you not to overthink lol the answers are literally in front of you. you just need to take your time to notice. in that sense, that is the purpose of the game. grief isnt tangible. sometimes you can hardly notice a thing or notice everything. its only felt, but it can be the thing that our loved ones left behind. its something that will linger. beautiful game!
ur gonna make me cry bro
all kidding aside, thank you so much for playing our game!!! it means a lot for us (this is our second game ever, as a team hahaha) and i felt like i was really pouring myself both into the story and ashley herself.
wow i love the storytelling and arttt, was so immersed holyyy. good luck, vc studios peeps! memories are important gifts too <3
